‘Ohana & Community Involvement:
Hālau Kū Māna is blessed with a multitude of kōkua from our families and the larger community. Each year, the school records well over 1000 volunteer hours from family and community that help to meet the school’s goals.
Hālau Kū Māna’s curriculum integrates multiple core subjects: Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science and Hawaiian Language into place and project based learning. Additionally, every ̀ōpio practices hula, ̀oli, and mālama ̀āina regularly throughout each week. We believe that academic rigor and cultural excellence feed each other.
