Support equality and social justice for public charter school children in Hawai'i

We REQUEST that the Hawai'i State Legislature SUPPORT PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL CHILDREN according to Federal Race to the Top guidelines for potential funding of $75 million. WE ASK THAT THE LEGISLATURE PROVIDE:
1. Equity in funding FOR all public school children, which means charter school and traditional public schools, with a uniform "per student" amount PROVIDED FOR EACH STUDENT.
2. An equal amount per student for all "special needs" students in ALL public schools, charter schools and regular schools.
3. A facilities allowance (space and maintenance)
4. Allow Growth. LIFT THE 'CAP' that limits the number of charter schools to 31 state wide.
