Pehea 'oe e kōkua ai? (How can you help?)
Our continued success is not possible without the kōkua
of both partner organizations and individuals in the community.
We ask for your kōkua with you can most afford to give:
Wish list - We still need monies
for a kitchen, ADA restrooms, a Halau, electrical hookups,
alarm system, and solar power.
Estimated total cost - $350,000. Other priority needs include:
15-passenger vans, video projector, digital cameras, music/art
equipment
and supplies, books, tools, classroom supplies, classroom
furniture.
Kukulu Hale - help clearing land
(workdays on site 10-2p every Saturday in March) or moving
house (May/June), or connecting us to contractors, engineers,
electricians, or plumbers who are willing to do pro bono
or discount work.
Malama 'Aina -
landscaping, clearing 'aina.
Soliciting Donations -
from business and colleagues for fundraisers and silent auctions.
Fundraisers -
planning and implementing of school-wide fundraisers.
Legislation -
kōkua in writing testimony attending legislative sessions
where decisions
directly impact
Hawai'i Charter Schools.
Automotive Repair -
kōkua in acquiring new transportation
and maintaining vans.
Hui Hoe Wa'a - kōkua with after
school canoe racing practices.
